Ashley Kingdon-Reese is a graduate of the BSN program at Dakota Wesleyan University, where she tutored fellow nursing students. Presently she is a fulltime student in pursuit of her MBA in Health Care Management. Prior to nursing, she worked for numerous corporations. She was a Communications Specialist for AT&T Wireless in the regional office. She worked as a student recruiter for the University of Texas, focusing on post graduate career services. Ashley helped establish Spotlight Entertainment, a local production and promotion company in Austin, the live music capital of the world. Since moving back to South Dakota, Ashley and her husband Ricky opened the restaurant Ida May’s as well as an in-home daycare. She is the winner of the 2014 student Governor’s Giant Vision competition, which helped launch Independent Health Solutions LLC.
